At 2:00 p.m. on May 29, 2026, Zhejiang Jumiao Laminated Fabric Co., Ltd. specially invited Dr. Dong Yisheng, a faculty member of the Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, Zhejiang University, to deliver a themed psychology seminar on “Knowing Yourself”. Employees of the company gathered in the meeting room and, through professional explanations and engaging interactive exercises, completed a session of inner exploration and effective communication aimed at personal growth.

Drawing on a professional psychology framework, Dr. Dong systematically explained the four stages of human cognitive development, and examined in depth core psychological phenomena such as the “peak of ignorance”, psychological defence mechanisms and the “information cocoon”. Through cases including a mathematics problem test and behavioural comparisons, he guided employees to face their own cognitive limitations and revealed the psychological pattern that “clever people are more prone to self-justification”, helping everyone understand: real growth begins with calmly admitting that “I do not know”.

The seminar included several interactive psychology segments, and the atmosphere on site was lively:
Visual illusion and colour perception difference tests, giving a direct demonstration of the psychological pattern that subjective experience shapes cognition;

He also shared knowledge on emotion management and the function of the prefrontal cortex, providing employees with professional guidance for everyday emotional regulation.
