One quilt against the bitter cold, one act of care warming the golden years — a record of Zhejiang Jumiao's 2025 Winter Sunshine initiative. As the year drew to a close and the weather turned cold, warmth still reached people's hearts. On December 26, 2025, on a winter day of deepening chill, the charity convoy of Zhejiang Jumiao Laminated Fabric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Zhejiang Jumiao”), loaded with warmth and care, travelled a long distance to Lixin County, Bozhou City, Anhui Province, and delivered carefully prepared cold-weather supplies into the hands of the elderly residents of the Madianzi Town Dongmen Community Nursing Home and the Chengguan Town Wuzhai Nursing Home, as well as some people receiving support under China’s Five Guarantees program, adding genuine warmth to their winter days.
In front of the Madianzi Town Dongmen Community Nursing Home, a bright red banner expressed sincere thanks for Zhejiang Jumiao’s charitable donation, adding a touch of warmth to the winter.
The Chengguan Town Wuzhai Nursing Home likewise welcomed and warmly thanked Zhejiang Jumiao for its winter care with a striking banner.
Every Drop Gathers, Warmth Sets Off
“Small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference” — this is not only the theme of the present charity initiative, but also the charitable philosophy Zhejiang Jumiao has always upheld. We know well that every small act of kindness carries great strength, and that when these acts gather together they can build a warm embankment against the cold of life.
On this occasion, Zhejiang Jumiao drew on its own resources and craftsmanship to carefully produce a batch of high-quality brand-new quilts and waterproof mattresses. These supplies, carrying the good wishes of everyone at Jumiao, are intended to address the practical problem of keeping warm in winter for the elderly and for people in difficulty who need help most, so that they can sleep warmer, more comfortably and more at ease. We believe that what we produce at home is not only a product, but also care and reassurance that reaches the heart.
Care Arrives, Warmth for the Golden Years
Carrying the thick quilts and practical waterproof mattresses, our volunteer team arrived respectively at the Madianzi Town Dongmen Community Nursing Home and the Chengguan Town Wuzhai Nursing Home. The volunteers handed the supplies personally to every elderly resident and explained the warmth-retaining and waterproof features of the products in detail, making sure they knew how to use them better.
Seeing the brand-new, thick cold-weather supplies, simple delight appeared on the faces of the elderly residents. This care from Zhejiang Jumiao reached them in the most tangible way — a quilt that keeps out the cold, and a mattress that safeguards a dry night’s sleep.
Beyond handing over the supplies, the volunteers also used the short time available to ask after the residents’ well-being and to offer warm winter greetings. A simple exchange conveyed respect and genuine care.
Extending Care, Bringing Warmth to Rural Homes
In addition to the centralised donations at the nursing homes, Zhejiang Jumiao’s charitable footsteps also extended to the homes of some Five Guarantees recipients facing financial hardship. Carrying quilts and waterproof mattresses, the volunteers walked through villages and into individual homes, bringing warmth directly to their bedsides.

For these elderly people who live alone or lack daily care, this timely delivery of supplies is not only protection against the cold, but also a weighty expression of social care, giving them the reassurance of knowing that they are supported in their later years.

One quilt shuts out the chill of a winter night; one waterproof mattress safeguards the dryness of a peaceful sleep. With the perseverance of letting small acts of kindness accumulate, Zhejiang Jumiao’s charity initiative gathered them into the warmest stream of the winter, flowing into the hearts of the elderly residents.
The banner of thanks in front of the Dongmen Community Party and Community Service Centre symbolises the community’s high recognition of and deep gratitude for Zhejiang Jumiao’s charitable act.
We know well that the road of charity is long, and that the strength of a single donation may be limited.
Yet Zhejiang Jumiao has always believed that every sincere contribution and every small act of kindness adds a little more good to the world. We will continue to fulfil our corporate social responsibility, to care about vulnerable groups in society, and to convey love and warmth through concrete action, so that small acts of kindness keep gathering and eventually become a vast sea of social love.
